Slawomir was honored as a “thought leader” in the European banking sector. As a pioneer in this sector, he has founded four banks from scratch, with rich successful startup experience in digital banking. 

Over the past 24 years, Slawomir has served as CEO, president and manager of banks in Poland and other european countries.  

He has been Director of PBG Bank and Vice President and Director of Powszechna Kasa Oszczędności BP (PKOBP), the biggest bank in Poland. In 2000, he set up mBank, the first Internet bank in Central and Eastern Europe, which has over 5.2 million mobile users. 

In addition, he has been the president of BRE Bank, the Austrian Intermarket Bank, and Meritum Bank, as well as director of several non-financial listed companies, such as Redan, Orange Polska and Best.
