Min Wang attained his MBA and PhD degrees from Zhejiang University. He began to invest in LED research in 2001 and focused on the R&D of silicon-based LED technology in 2003. In 2006, he creatively brought in venture capital and founded Lattice Power with Professor Fengyi Jiang.

In 2009, Dr. Min Wang extended silicon-based LED technology to the downstream of the LED industry and set up Lattice Lighting in Jiangxi Province. 

Currently, Dr. Min Wang is CEO of Lattice Power, Director of the National and Local United Engineering Research Center for Solid-state Lighting of the National Development and Reform Commission, and CPPCC member of Jiangxi Province. He was awarded “The Top Ten Jinggang Talents” of the fourth batch of Jiangxi Province and was selected as one of the first leading talents of technology-based entrepreneurship in the Ten Thousand Talents Program of the Department of the CPC.
